Service Description
HOW IT WORKS: choose one day and time below. That becomes your weekly lesson for the entire semester — the same day, the same time, every week. You book once. There is no weekly rebooking, and the slot is held for you. LESSON LENGTH: choose 30, 45, or 60 minutes when you book. TUITION: a flat monthly rate covering four lessons — $180/month for 30 minutes, $300/month for 45 minutes, $360/month for 60 minutes. A month containing only one lesson is billed for that lesson alone ($45 / $75 / $90), not the full month. August is billed at half rate. Home lessons add $25 per visit and are invoiced separately. Your invoice is emailed about two days before the 1st, and payment is due on the 1st, in advance — by card, check, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or PayPal. Nothing is charged on this website. No sales tax on instruction. ONE SICK DAY PER MONTH: tell us before the lesson time and that lesson is made up at no extra charge. It is a free make-up, not a credit or refund, and your monthly tuition does not change. WHEN: Monday through Friday, 3:00–6:00 p.m. Fall semester runs August 19 – December 18; spring runs January 5 – May 28. WHERE: The Benjamin Elementary School in North Palm Beach, or at your home by arrangement. Violin, viola, and cello with Nathan Clifford. Requests are confirmed by the Studio.
Cancellation Policy
▶ THIS BOOKING REPEATS WEEKLY The day and time you chose is your lesson slot every week, all semester. You book once; the time is held for you. ▶ NOTHING IS CHARGED TODAY We confirm your weekly time with you, then invoice you monthly. ▶ TUITION — FLAT MONTHLY RATE (4 LESSONS) • 30 min → $180 / month • 45 min → $300 / month • 60 min → $360 / month Tuition is a fixed monthly amount. It does not change with how many lessons fall in a calendar month, and is not reduced for studio holidays or breaks — those are already accounted for in the rate. Two exceptions, both in your favour: • A month with only ONE lesson is billed for that lesson alone ($45 / $75 / $90), not the full month. • August is billed at half rate. ▶ HOME LESSONS Add $25 per visit, invoiced separately on their own invoice. Home lessons by arrangement — choose below. ▶ ONE SICK DAY PER MONTH — MADE UP, NOT REFUNDED One excused absence a month, if you tell us before the lesson time. That lesson is made up at a mutually agreeable time at no extra charge. It is not a credit, discount, or refund, and your tuition does not change. Unused sick days do not carry over. ▶ NO OTHER MAKE-UPS Lessons missed beyond that one are forfeited, for any reason — no credit, refund, discount, or reschedule. Late arrival does not extend the lesson. Tuition reserves your weekly time, not only the lessons attended. ▶ TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE Non-transferable. Withdrawal requires 30 days' written notice; tuition remains due through that period. ▶ MATERIALS Parents provide the instrument, accessories, sheet music, and method books.
